Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to start by telling you all a little bit about the person behind the screen and why you're all stuck seeing me even more on social media.
Starting a blog has come as a product of a Journalism Foundation course I have been taking part in. The course encouraged us to develop an online presence that is positive and meaningful, something we can utilise and be proud of. That spoke to me and I decided to go with it. Now normally I am the most indecisive person in the world but creating this has been the first time I don’t feel indecisive because it can be whatever I want it to be. I’m hoping to use this as a platform that covers everything from my favourite places to eat to raising awareness of issues I hold close to me.
For those of you who don’t know I have just finished my first year of university at Brunel in London where I have been studying Military and International History. It has been a long and challenging year, but I am so excited to have completed it and keep going with my course, my job and now my blog! Studying the course, I am has taught me so much about researching, writing and my own interests. I have become invested in topics and issues I hadn’t even heard of and have discovered new views and opinions on historical issues in diplomacy, politics and the law. All of which I hope to share with you guys as the right moment arises.
The move to London has provided me with more than I ever expected too! The chance within the city to learn and grow are incredible, my confidence is much stronger, and I now say yes to every opportunity and event presented to me. I have gained the most incredible friends and am now working in a job I absolutely love whilst furthering my connections with charities and companies that I have so much respect and support for! Between this and my love of music and film and travelling I can’t wait to get posting all different content for you.
I hope that this introduction has given you a little insight to the person I am and how I aim to use this platform to provide advice and insight and awareness on things I find important or exciting.
